In the last two weeks, the Rajasthan Police have rescued at least 189 children ages 8 to 17 from a bangle manufacturing factory in the state, an official said on Thursday (15 June).
All of the youngsters that were recovered were allegedly trafficked from various districts in Bihar and Rajasthan. They were compelled to work from 5 a.m. (local time) till late at night for pitiful salaries.
