The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) detected a 6.7 magnitude earthquake 264 kilometers east of Panama City on Thursday (25 May).
The earthquake occurred at 08:35:34 (IST) at a depth of 10 kilometers. Meanwhile, the US Tsunami Warning System reported that there was no tsunami warning issued following the quake.
Furthermore, no casualties or property damage have been reported as of yet. More information is awaited.
