On July 23, a Ukrainian drone attack targeted a ferry port in the southern Russian region of Krasnodar, resulting in the death of at least one person and injuring several port workers. The attack struck Port Kavkaz, a significant maritime facility, causing substantial damage and disruption.

In response to the drone assault, Russia’s defense ministry announced on July 23 that it had destroyed 25 Ukrainian aerial drones, including 21 over the Black Sea and Russia-occupied Crimea. Additionally, Ukrainian drones reportedly struck vehicles in various Russian villages, injuring at least five people.

Meanwhile, officials in the Sumy region of northeastern Ukraine reported that a Russian drone attack had damaged an energy facility, leading to a power outage that affected 50,000 people. The incident underscores the escalating drone warfare between the two nations, impacting both military and civilian targets.
