As soon as the curfew was lifted at 10 a.m. (local time), Army and Assam Rifles troops marched across Churachandpur.

In total, 120-125 Army columns have been deployed throughout the riot-ravaged state.

In total, 10,000 soldiers, paramilitary personnel, and central police have been deployed in Manipur.
