On February 15, Ladakh inhabitants will demonstrate in support of statehood at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar under the banners of the Leh Apex Body (LAB) and the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA). They also want the creation of two parliamentary constituencies for Leh and Kargil, a public service commission, and a constitutional safeguard for jobs and land (6th Schedule).
