According to the report from Friday (12 July), Civil defense workers in Gaza City have begun the grim task of recovering bodies from collapsed buildings and debris-covered streets, following days of intense Israeli assault in the Tal al-Hawa and Sanaa neighborhoods. Israeli troops reportedly withdrew from parts of these districts after heavy bombardment and fighting aimed at Hamas militants.
The incursion, part of ongoing military operations across Gaza, has forced Palestinians to repeatedly flee or face the deadly consequences of shifting offensives.
