This warning, classified as ‘high severity,’ refers to the discovery of numerous vulnerabilities in specific versions of Google Chrome.
According to the alert, “multiple vulnerabilities in Google Chrome have been reported, which could be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary code and gain access to sensitive information on the targeted system.” The nature of the situation necessitates rapid action to protect users’ data and systems from potential breaches.
What can users do?
CERT-In has advised users to deploy the most recent browser security patches as soon as possible. On the plus side, Google has already released the most recent version of Chrome, which includes solutions for these vulnerabilities.
