As of 10 February after shooting stones in Ramban district overnight, the Jammu-Srinagar highway, the only surface route connecting Kashmir Valley with the outside world, remained closed.
Around midnight, the strategic highway was closed owing to shooting stones at Panthyal.
It is urged that people only go on the highway after checking the condition of the route.
