Israeli attacks since dawn today (Monday, 15 September) have killed at least 28 Palestinians in Gaza, with 20 of the casualties reported in Gaza City. Hospital sources cited by Al Jazeera Arabic confirmed the rising death toll as strikes and violence intensified in the area. The situation has left medical staff struggling to cope with the growing number of victims.
In the Al Mawasi area, southwest of Khan Younis, three additional people were shot dead. The attack added to the already heavy toll of casualties reported throughout Gaza. Residents in this area have been facing severe dangers as violence expands beyond Gaza City.
Tragedy also struck inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis. According to the Quds Media Network, seven children died this morning within the facility. Among the victims were four fetuses lost in utero and three premature babies who passed away in incubators due to the worsening crisis.
The deaths highlight the severe impact of the conflict not only on civilians in their homes but also on vulnerable patients inside medical centers. Hospitals are overwhelmed, and even those seeking care are not safe from the consequences of the violence. The mounting loss of life underscores the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
