Authorities announced on Sunday (April 30) that ten persons were killed and three others were injured in an armed attack in the Ecuadorean coastal city of Guayaquil. A five-year-old girl was among those hurt.
According to National Police Commander William Villaroel, the armed attack was the result of a territorial battle between organized crime organizations.
