Three British tourists were lost, while 12 were rescued, after a motor boat caught fire off the Egyptian Red Sea coast on June 12.
The survivors, along with 12 Egyptian crew and guides, were transported to safety at the adjacent diving resort of Marsa Shagra, some 21km (13 miles) north of the town of Marsa Alam.
The fire was started by an electrical short circuit on the Hurricane boat, which had been on a trip since June 6 in a location slightly north of Marsa Alam.
