On Thursday (30 January), Ukrainian Defense Forces engaged in 150 combat clashes with Russian invaders along the frontline. Russian forces launched one missile strike, 55 airstrikes, and over 6,500 artillery shellings, including 127 from multiple launch rocket systems. Additionally, they deployed 2,767 kamikaze drones to target Ukrainian positions and settlements. Despite the heavy attacks, Ukrainian troops continued to defend key areas.

The most intense fighting occurred in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 71 Russian assaults. In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces attempted 13 attacks, while in the Kramatorsk sector, 10 enemy advances were stopped. The Ukrainian military also engaged in battles in the Lyman, Siversk, Kupiansk, and Prydniprovske sectors, halting Russian advances and preventing territorial gains.

Missile forces and artillery of Ukraine’s Defense Forces targeted Russian positions, launching one strike on an enemy personnel concentration area, three strikes on command points, and multiple attacks on air defense systems and other military sites. The Russians also carried out 17 airstrikes using 22 guided bombs in the Kursk sector, along with more than 360 artillery shellings. However, in the Orikhiv and Kharkiv sectors, Russian troops did not conduct offensive operations.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to hold defensive lines across various sectors, particularly in Novopavlivka and Huliaipole, where Russian troops attempted multiple breakthroughs. On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy, Russian artillery fired from across the border to shell Ukrainian settlements. Since the beginning of the war on February 24, 2022, Russian combat losses have reached approximately 837,610 personnel, with 1,670 soldiers lost on Thursday (30 January) alone.
