Ukraine, under Russian attack for the past 14 months, has issued an emergency alert in practically all cities amid reports of several missile attacks on the already war-torn country.
According to The Kyiv Independent, Ukraine’s Presidential Office head Andrii Yermak stated that air defense is operating amid a considerable air raid alarm. According to local media, Moscow may hit numerous cities with at least 100 missiles.
Meanwhile, Yermak warned citizens not to ignore air raid sirens and advised them to stay in safe places. According to Kyiv Independent, Moscow initiated the attack around 2:30 a.m. (Kyiv time) on Monday (01 May 2023), citing Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
