On Tuesday 7 February, Environment Canada issued a warning for freezing rain, high winds and snow across southern Ontario for Thursday 09 February night (local time).
Environment Canada further claimed that high winds of up to 90 km/h were expected. Due to icy and slippery roads and walkways, driving conditions could become dangerous.
