On 22 January 2023, the NYC Mobilization for Reproductive Justice is going to hold a Women’s March.
The event will consist of a speakout at the 17th police precinct, which will then be followed by a march to St. Patrick’s Cathedral to counter-protest their Vigil for Life.
The one and a half hours event is scheduled to start at 12:00 pm (EST) and end at 02:30 pm (EST). All the participants of the event are invited to gather at 17th Police Precinct, 167 E. 51st, New York, NY, 10022, United States.
The main agenda of the event will be to DEMAND the separation of Church and State and CONDEMN the recent arrests of clinic defenders by this police unit.
Additionally, the demonstrators will call for the protection and defense of the rights of women, queer people, and trans people to abortion, childcare, comprehensive sex education, and a living wage. Another major demand is to stop forced sterilization.
The protest may result in severe traffic congestion and could lead to localized inconvenience.
