The Indian government’s deployment of a high level of preparedness and efficient execution of “Operation Kaveri” enabled the successful rescue of around 3,800 Indians who were stranded in war-torn Sudan.

The Ministry of External Affairs announced on Friday (05 May) that an Indian Air Force C-130J flight carrying 47 stranded Indians left departed from Jeddah in a Delhi-bound plane.
