In the Bathinda Military Station in Punjab, four Indian Army jawans were killed early on Wednesday (12 April) in what is thought to be a case of fratricide.
Around 4:30 am (local time), there was a shooting incident at the Bathinda cantonment, which resulted in the military base being closed off.
Security services ruled out a terror strike as the cause of the incident, as one or two army men were most likely to blame.
