The most recent COVID-19 variety BA.2.86, which has been discovered in a few countries, is a significantly changed version.
The WHO has classified it as a “variant under monitoring.” Three years after the World Health Organisation (WHO) proclaimed Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, a pandemic, recent studies from China indicate that the threat is far from ending.
According to current statistics, Chinese specialists have established that a new variant BA.2.86 is rapidly spreading across the country, producing a surge in new COVID cases.
After Eris was blamed for the cases in the UK and the US, another Covid strain, BA.2.86, was found. So far, cases have been found in Israel, Denmark, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Though the COVID-19 situation has improved greatly, people are still advised to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
