A fire broke out in the battery box of a coach on the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express early Monday (17 July), according to a railway official.

The Rani Kamalapati-Hazrat Nizamuddin was carrying 37 people from Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal to New Delhi.

“No one was injured as a result of the incident.”

The fire was quickly extinguished, and repairs were made.

“After being stopped for more than three hours, the train resumed its journey.”
