According to Dutch government plans aimed at lowering carbon emissions, Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, one of Europe’s busiest aviation hubs, would be required to limit the number of international flights and people it serves. 

This move has alarmed airlines. In order to reach its climate goals, Dutch officials declared on March 17 that they will put limitations on all international flights departing the country.
