Israeli attacks on Damascus-area targets early Monday (07 August), killing at least four Syrian soldiers.
Four more soldiers were injured, and the strikes caused “some material damage.”
The Israeli government did not respond quickly. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition-linked war monitor, the raids targeted weapons and munitions facilities as well as positions of Iran-backed militias in and around Damascus.
According to reports, at least six people were killed and seven more were injured.
