On Thursday (22 June), at least three people were killed and five others were injured in an explosion suspected to have been triggered by a gas leak in a residential building in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.

Several storeys and four apartments had been destroyed, and the damaged structures were being disassembled with the assistance of mobile cranes and rescue teams.
