On Tuesday, late at night (21 February 2023), a dye manufacturer in Turbhe MIDC in Navi Mumbai reported a gas leakage. The MIDC fire brigade and police officers have arrived at Jyoti Dye Industry Pvt. Ltd. and are assessing the situation. Local residents are advised to avoid the area until the area is declared safe by the authorities.
