On February 9, Maharashtra Congress will organize a statewide “rasta-roko” (road-blockade) action to protest the government’s failure to aid farmers suffering from the drought and pass the benefits of decreasing oil prices on to consumers.
Additionally, Congress would object to any amendments made to the Land Acquisition Act.
