Sakshi and her friends Bhavna and Jhabru had met him the day before the event. Sahil and the three got into a fight over his persistent stalking of Sakshi. Jhabru yelled at Sahil to stay away from Sakshi during this time.

He just decided to remove Sakshi from the path after that. Although police officials claim that the truthfulness of his claims is being looked at.

After completing the necessary medical procedures, the police transported him to Rohini court on Tuesday morning (30 May) and placed him there on detention for two days.
