Seven people were shot to death by a man

In the largely rural and agricultural city of Enoch in Iron County, in the southwest US state, eight individuals were discovered shot to death inside a residence on Wednesday (04 January 2023). The capital city of Utah, Salt Lake City, lies about 400 kilometers to the south of Enoch.

The incident involved, a 42-year-old man shooting and killing seven members of his family, including his wife and their five children, before killing himself in their home.

A police investigation is currently in progress.
