On Wednesday (28 June), six persons were electrocuted and 15 more were injured during the Ulta Rath Yatra in Tripura’s Unakoti district.
Dr Sanjit Chakma, Medical Officer at Kumarghat Subdivision Hospital, reported that six individuals died on the scene and 15 others were hospitalized with serious burn injuries caused by electricity.
