According to the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), 843,130 individuals have been internally displaced in Sudan since the conflict began.

According to the IOM, 1.8 million more people would be internally displaced if the war continues.

Prior to the crisis, the country had 1.1 million refugees and 3.8 million internally displaced persons.

While almost 259,000 individuals have already fled Sudan to neighboring countries, it is estimated that over a million refugees and migrants affected by the violence will flee to neighboring countries if the crisis continues.
