Mount Merapi in Indonesia, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, erupted on Tuesday (23 May), spilling lava more than two kilometers from the crater.
According to the Centre for Research and Development of Geological Disaster Technology (BPPTKG), dozens of tiny tremors associated with Merapi’s eruption were registered on Tuesday (23 May).
