According to the reports on Wednesday (6 November), a Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine on the morning of Tuesday (5 November), killed seven people and injured 25 others. The assault was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, who shared details of the extensive damage through his official channel. This attack was part of a larger escalation targeting multiple settlements within the region.
Over the last 24 hours, Russian forces launched 301 strikes on 13 different locations across Zaporizhzhia. Among the impacted areas were Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, and Temyrivka, each hit by airstrikes that caused significant destruction. Fedorov confirmed that Russian troops had increased both the frequency and intensity of attacks across the region.
Russian forces deployed 154 drones of varying types, attacking locations like Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, and Bilohiria. These unmanned aerial vehicles caused further damage, contributing to the widespread impact on civilian areas. Alongside these UAV attacks, four multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) strikes were reported in Lobkove and Novodanylivka.
Artillery shelling intensified, with 134 strikes hitting various settlements including Huliaipole and Mala Tokmachka, leading to severe infrastructure damage and further casualties. The series of attacks underscores a growing crisis in Zaporizhzhia, where residents and local authorities are struggling to cope with the unrelenting assault and its devastating effects on communities across the region.
