Data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare updated on Friday (20 January 2023) show that 145 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were reported across the nation on the previous day, while the number of active cases fell to 1,946.
In the past 24 hours, there has been a decline of 16 cases in the active Covid-19 caseload.
Though there is a decline in the number of active cases, people are still urged to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
