According to data from the Union Health Ministry, India recorded 2,380 new COVID-19 infections on Sunday (07 May), although the number of active cases fell to 27,212 from 30,041 the day before.
Though the COVID-19 situation has improved greatly, people are still advised to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
