The number of new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in India increased by 94 in a single day, but the number of active cases decreased to 1,934 according to figures updated on Monday (23 January 2023) by the Union Health Ministry.
Though there is a decline in the number of active cases, people are still urged to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
