During a landslide on the Kohima-Dimapur National Highway on Tuesday (04 July), massive stones swept down and crushed three cars.
The incident occurred near a police checkpoint in Chumoukedima.
In the incident, at least two persons were killed and three more were injured.
A viral video of the incident shows a big boulder striking two cars in quick succession. Both vehicles were smashed and severely damaged.
Another boulder is also seen slamming into a car in front of the two autos in the footage.
The automobiles in question were on their way from Kohima. The crash was captured on the dash camera of the vehicle in front of them.
According to authorities, one guy is still trapped inside one of the automobiles, and efforts are on to free him.
