A terrifying occurrence occurred when a guy fell onto the tracks at a crowded railway station, killing him.

On Wednesday afternoon (21 June), a man in his 30s, believed to be in a wheelchair or mobility scooter, fell onto the rails at Central Station.

Before 3 p.m. (local time), emergency services including police, paramedics, and NSW Fire and Rescue rushed to the station.

Trains are running, however, there are significant delays on the rail lines, and travelers are advised to allow plenty of extra travel time.
