China eliminates all COVID-19 testing requirements for inbound travelers

A spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry made a big announcement on 28 August regarding COVID-19.

Travelers visiting China will no longer be required to undertake COVID-19 nucleic acid or antigen tests beginning 30 August 2023.

The removal of COVID-19 testing requirements will significantly simplify the entry process for visitors entering China.
