The plum rain season arrived in Taiwan on Sunday (May 7), with a severe thunderstorm warning issued across the majority of central Taiwan.
The Central Weather Bureau (CWB) reported at 10:50 a.m. (local time) on Sunday (07 May) that heavy rains, lightning, thunder, and strong winds are predicted from Sunday afternoon into the evening along the east coast from Miaoli to Tainan.
