At least three individuals were killed in a shooting in Yakima City, Washington, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Both a gas station and a convenience shop were on the scene of the incident. Reports state that the shooter randomly shot 21 persons inside the store before fleeing the scene. However, the suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound as he was being caught after an hour-long manhunt.
An investigation is underway to understand the motive of the shooting.
