According to data published on Sunday (29 January 2023) by the Union Health Ministry, India has seen an increase of 109 new COVID-19 infections in a single day, bringing the total number of active cases up to 1,842.
Though there is a decline in the number of active cases, people are still urged to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
