The number of active coronavirus (COVID-19) cases grew to 1,960 in India, while there were 140 new infections, according to data updated on Sunday (22 January 2023) by the Union Health Ministry.
Though there is a decline in the number of active cases, people are still urged to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
