The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in India decreased to 1,896 active cases while there were 99 new infections, according to figures updated on Friday (27 January 2023) by the Union Health Ministry.
Though there is a decline in the number of active cases, people are still urged to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
