According to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday (31 January 2023), India recorded a one-day increase of 66 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, the lowest number since March 26, 2020, while the number of active cases decreased to 1,755.
Though the COVID-19 situation has improved greatly, people are still advised to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
