According to health officials, a fire that started at a hospital in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, on Wednesday (01 February 2023) resulted in at least three fatalities and 32 injuries.

According to the Health Ministry, the fire started at the Noor Mohammadi hospital in the Matariya neighborhood in eastern Cairo.
