According to data published on Monday (24 April) by the Union health ministry, India reported 7,178 new (COVID-19) coronavirus infections.
After 69 days, the number of active cases has decreased and is presently 65,683.
Though the COVID-19 situation has improved greatly, people are still advised to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
