Hunt for terrorists intensifies in J&K

At least 24 people have been detained for questioning as the hunt for terrorists behind the ambush in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, which killed five army personnel, entered its third day on Wednesday (10 July).

The army and police are conducting search operations amid heavy rain in dense forests across Kathua, Udhampur, Bhaderwah, Doda, Samba, Rajouri, and Poonch districts. Special forces, helicopters, UAVs, sniffer dogs, and metal detectors are being utilized to navigate the challenging terrain and locate the terrorists.
