In response to a decline in COVID-19 cases in the nation, India on Thursday (09 February 2023) loosened travel restrictions for visitors from China and six other nations beginning on February 11, 2023.
The Indian Health Ministry updated the “Guidelines for International Arrivals” and removed the pre-departure COVID-19 testing and self-health declaration upload requirements for international travelers arriving from/via China, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, and Japan.
Though the COVID-19 situation has improved greatly, people are still advised to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
