Beginning on Wednesday (01 March 2023), Japan will relax its coronavirus (COVID-19) border restrictions for visitors from China by just randomly selecting passengers for testing.
Chinese visitors must additionally provide documentation of a pre-boarding negative test.
Though the COVID-19 situation has improved greatly, people are still advised to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
