Pakistan authorities shut down the Torkham border with Afghanistan just hours after it was reopened on Thursday 23 February.
According to the director of the joint chamber of commerce and industry, Pakistan was unable to completely operationalize the border crossing due to administrative problems.
The Torkham border crossing is a vital commercial artery and a trade route to Central Asian countries.
